What You Need to Make This Kale Mango Smoothie
For the kale, your grocery store may have several different options. Between curly kale, dino kale, or purple kale, it really doesn’t matter which you choose. Just remember to destem your kale before blending.
As for the mango, I’m using frozen because I find it to be the most convenient option, but fresh is great too. The same goes for your bananas—I’ll be using fresh today.
Don’t have orange juice? No worries! You can use water, dairy milk, or non-dairy milk, whichever is convenient for you.
The honey can also be swapped for agave nectar or maple syrup.
Ingredients:
- Kale
- Mango
- Banana
- Honey

- ½ cup coconut milk
- ¼- ½ of an avocado
- 1 inch peeled ginger or 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 scoop of protein powder
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds

How To Make This Kale Mango Smoothie
First, combine all ingredients into a blender, reserving ½ of a cup of liquid.
Next, blend while adding more liquid as necessary until you have reached your desired consistency.

Yes1 Kale is one of the healthiest leafy greens around. It’s packed with antioxidants, fiber, vitamins A, C, K, and potassium—the list goes on and on. I love adding kale to my smoothies. If you add enough fruit and perhaps a dash of something sweet, you won’t even be able to tell that it’s in there. (Source)
