What You Need to Make This Kale Mango Smoothie

Smoothie ingredients There are only 5 ingredients required for this smoothie, and all can easily be found at your local grocery store. This smoothie is 100% vegan and can be made with fresh or frozen fruit.

For the kale, your grocery store may have several different options. Between curly kale, dino kale, or purple kale, it really doesn’t matter which you choose. Just remember to destem your kale before blending.

As for the mango, I’m using frozen because I find it to be the most convenient option, but fresh is great too. The same goes for your bananas—I’ll be using fresh today.

Don’t have orange juice? No worries! You can use water, dairy milk, or non-dairy milk, whichever is convenient for you.

The honey can also be swapped for agave nectar or maple syrup.
