How To Make Ricotta Frittata

Eggs, ricotta, and a little cream are mixed with sautéed shallots and lots of fresh basil to make this scrumptious ricotta frittata recipe.

Have this frittata alongside a creamy latte or herbal tea or serve with a few dressed greens.

Large eggs Fresh basil Salt Pepper Ricotta  (whole or part milk) Cream Shallots Olive oil


Sauté the shallots and basil until they just begin to wilt and soften. Set aside.

Whisk together eggs, ricotta, salt and pepper. Mix sautéed shallots and basil.

Top the frittata mixture with ricotta and whole basil leaves. Bake in an oven. Cut into slices and serve!
