Pumpkin spice cappuccino has all the best flavors of fall in one drink. For those who don’t like the strong taste of espresso, this is a great drink to make. Try this quick and simple recipe and be wowed by its deliciousness.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 to 4 shots espresso or ½ cup strong coffee
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin pie spice more to garnish
  • Cinnamon sticks to garnish
  • Canned whipped cream optional

Instructions
 

  • Brew coffee until boiling hot.
  • Place all remaining ingredients in a sauce pot or bowl.
  • Add hot coffee and whisk until fully combined.
  • Heat on a stove for 5 minutes until boiling.
  • Once ingredients have combined, pour into glasses.
  • Top with whipped cream (optional), spices, a cinnamon stick and serve.

Notes

One way to elevate your pumpkin spice cappuccino is to make your own pumpkin spice mix. I like to add freshly grated nutmeg instead of it being powdered. This will help enhance the spices and make for a more complex taste.
Another way to elevate this drink is to choose a quality syrup. For this recipe I used a seasonal maple syrup which enhances the richness of the drink.
